The Windy City ThunderBolts (14-17) failed to take advantage of Jonathan Garcia's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 6-5 to the Gateway Grizzlies (12-21) at GCS Ballpark.

Garcia blasted two home runs for the Windy City ThunderBolts. Garcia went 3-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Garcia homered in the fifth and seventh innings.

Scott Harkin recorded his first win of the year for the Gateway Grizzlies. Harkin struck out two, walked none and gave up two hits.

James Jones (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one-third of an inning, walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
