Jarett Miller kept the Florence Freedom (13-20) off the board during his six innings of work and the Southern Illinois Miners (21-12) beat the Florence Freedom, 4-0.

Miller allowed four hits, one walk and struck out seven.

Michael Earley racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Southern Illinois Miners. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth inning.

Jacob Ezell brought the heat against the Southern Illinois Miners during his outing. Ezell held the Southern Illinois Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out two.

Coleman Stephens (2-4) took the loss for the Florence Freedom. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
