Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Gateway Grizzlies (11-21) outscored the Windy City ThunderBolts (14-16) 9-8.

The two teams combined for 28 hits in the game.

Ben Waldrip racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Gateway Grizzlies. He homered in the sixth inning.

Max Schonfeld got the win, running his season record to 2-1. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Danny Jimenez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
