The teams totaled 30 hits in the game.
Anderson Hidalgo racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the third and eighth innings.
Mike Schulze had two extra-base hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the first inning, tripled in the third inning, and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.
Mike Devine improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered three hits.
Anthony Gomez ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed 11 runs in five innings, walked one and struck out two.
