The Nevada Big Horns (8-8) pounded the San Francisco Seagulls (11-8) on Friday 9-3 at Mills High School.

The Nevada Big Horns scored three runs in the ninth on the Nevada Big Horns scored in the ninth on a double by John Heckman, a groundout by Justin Mannens, and a single by Evan Ramirez.

Heckman racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Nevada Big Horns.

Daniel Page had an impressive outing against the San Francisco Seagulls' lineup. The San Francisco Seagulls managed just one hit off of the the Nevada Big Horns' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 1 2/3 innings of work.

It was a good day at the plate for the San Francisco Seagulls' Dalton Pizzuti. Pizzuti went 3-4 and drove in one. He singled in the second, fourth, and sixth innings.

Brett Minnick got the win, running his season record to 2-2. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out three, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

John Tierney was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked six, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
