Brian McConkey collected three hits, helping the River City Rascals (55-34) to an 8-6 victory over the Washington Wild Things (52-36) on Thursday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Jose Dore had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth inning and homered in the sixth inning.

The River City Rascals had no answer for Zach LeBarron, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. LeBarron held the River City Rascals hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out one.

Kyle Brady recorded his second win of the year for the River City Rascals. He allowed four runs over five innings. Brady struck out five, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Scott Dunn couldn't get it done on the hill for the Washington Wild Things, taking a loss. He allowed seven runs in three innings, walked two and struck out one.
