Jon Myers drove in three runs as the River City Rascals (44-27) took home a 7-4 victory over the Florence Freedom (27-42) in seven innings at T. R. Hughes Ballpark on Friday.

Bryce Shafer handled the Florence Freedom's lineup with ease, racking up five strikeouts. Shafer allowed one earned run on four hits and three walks over five innings.

Sam Eberle racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Patrick Crider improved to 4-0 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Dave Middendorf was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
