Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Tuesday as the Trinidad Triggers (35-25) outscored the Raton Osos (23-39) 18-8.

The teams totaled 37 hits in the game.

The Trinidad Triggers turned the win into a rout with eight runs in the seventh. The Trinidad Triggers scored in the seventh on a two-run single by Bryson Sims, a hit by pitch, a hit by pitch, an RBI single by Shane Casey, , and a two-run single by Jake Summers.

Casey racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Trinidad Triggers.

Jeff Lyons recorded his seventh win of the year for the Trinidad Triggers. He allowed four runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered 10 hits.

Derrick Sampel couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Raton Osos, taking a loss. He allowed eight runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked two and struck out two.
