Bobby Martin went 1-2 and hit a home run, sparking the Schaumburg Boomers (27-22) to a 4-3 victory in seven innings over the Joliet Slammers (19-30) on Saturday at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.

Danny Jimenez allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four over six innings of work.

Dexter Price recorded his second win of the year for the Schaumburg Boomers. He allowed one run over one inning. Price struck out none, walked none and gave up one hit.

Brett Zawacki (3-3) took the loss for the Joliet Slammers. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
