Edgar Corcino knocked in three runs, helping the Rockford Aviators (10-12) to a 7-2 victory over the River City Rascals (13-9) on Wednesday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Cole Green's six strikeouts were enough to push the Rockford Aviators past the River City Rascals. Green allowed two earned runs on five hits and three walks over seven innings.

Saxon Butler was hot from the plate for the River City Rascals. Butler went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Cory Caruso (1-3) took the loss for the River City Rascals. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out two.
