Three first-inning runs helped the Taos Blizzard (21-39) to a 4-3 win over the Raton Osos (23-37) at Taos Tundra on Sunday.

The Taos Blizzard scored in the first on an RBI triple by Mike Lange, an RBI double by Devin Bujnovsky, and an RBI single by Hiroshi Senda.

It was a good day at the plate for the Taos Blizzard's Jacob Campbell. Campbell went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and homered in the fourth inning.

The Taos Blizzard relied on Shane Flynn to eat up innings en route to the win. Flynn pitched 7 2/3 innings and allowed three earned runs, six hits and four walks while striking out five.

Tim Sylvester couldn't get it done on the hill for the Raton Osos, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
