Fourth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Trinidad Triggers, 13-7

The Trinidad Triggers (29-22) blew out the Douglas Diablos 13-7 on Thursday at Central Park after pouring on seven runs in the fourth inning.

The Trinidad Triggers scored in the fourth on an RBI single by Shane Casey, an RBI single by Blake May, an RBI single by May, an RBI single by Jake Summers, a groundout by AJ Puma, and a two-run home run by K.C. Judge.

Johnny Bladel racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Trinidad Triggers. He doubled in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and homered in the fifth inning.

Alex Mann picked up the win for the Trinidad Triggers. Mann allowed three earned runs, four hits and five walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Derek Voigt led the Douglas Diablos (25-30)'s offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the sixth inning.

Ryan Lubreski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked two and struck out two.
