Lange leads the Taos Blizzard to 20-8 win over the Santa Fe Fuego

Thursday was a great day for Mike Lange, as he clubbed two home runs to carry the Taos Blizzard (22-41) to a 20-8 victory over the Santa Fe Fuego (45-22) at Fort Marcy Park.

Each team blasted the other's pitching, and there were 28 total runs and 36 hits during the game. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were eight pitchers used in the game.

The Taos Blizzard ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Taos Blizzard scored five runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. Alex Teal (4-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.

The Taos Blizzard easily handled the Santa Fe Fuego pitching as seven hitters combined for 21 hits, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
