The Alpine Cowboys (11-3) beat the White Sands Pupfish (3-8) 8-6 on Wednesday at Kokernot Field behind Brian Milliman, who had two extra base hits.
He homered in the third inning and doubled in the seventh inning.Preston Lyon reached base three times. He scored two runs and had one RBI. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.
Ryan Richardson recorded his first win of the year for the Alpine Cowboys. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.
Fabian Feliciano couldn't get it done on the hill for the White Sands Pupfish, taking a loss. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
