The Schaumburg Boomers (58-35) continued to pile up the runs on Saturday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, en route to an easy 16-1 win over the Windy City ThunderBolts (32-60) at Standard Bank Stadium.

Brian Oliver was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in four innings, walked none and struck out two.
