A walk-off two-run home run from Vincent Mejia brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (50-35) in a 6-4 victory over the River City Rascals (53-33) in 12 innings at All Pro Freight Stadium on Saturday.
Mejia rocked the River City Rascals with two home runs. Mejia went 2-6 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Mejia homered in the second and twelfth innings.
Zac Treece brought the heat against the River City Rascals during his outing. The River City Rascals managed just two hits off of Treece, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out four during his five innings of work.
Andy Roberts got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Roberts struck out one, walked none and gave up one hit.
Chandler Jagodzinski (3-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
