Dusty Robinson went 2-3 and hit a home run, helping the Rockford Aviators (32-45) to a 6-2 victory over the Southern Illinois Miners (47-30) on Wednesday at Aviator Stadium.

Kyle Brueggemann picked up the win for the Rockford Aviators. Brueggemann allowed two earned runs, five hits and three walks while striking out two over seven innings of work.

Matt Bywater ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out three.
