The Washington Wild Things (40-24) and the Rockford Aviators (28-36) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Washington Wild Things that eventually took advantage of them in a 4-2 win at CONSOL Energy Park.

C.J. Beatty racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Washington Wild Things. He homered in the sixth inning.

Dusty Robinson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockford Aviators. He homered in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Zac Fuesser got the win, running his season record to 7-1. He allowed two runs over 6 2/3 innings. Fuesser struck out six, walked one and gave up nine hits.
