Zach Tanner went 2-4 and hit a home run, sparking the Frontier Greys (19-40) to an 8-5 victory over the River City Rascals (36-22) on Thursday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark.

Brian McConkey reached base four times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the first and sixth innings.

Even though Clint Wright allowed five runs over 6 2/3 innings he still recorded the victory, his fifth of the season. He struck out six, walked three and surrendered eight hits.

Kyle Brady ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 2 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.
