Michael Vaughn went 1-3 and hit a home run, sparking the Frontier Greys (11-33) to a 7-5 victory over the Lake Erie Crushers (23-21) on Friday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

Vincent Mejia had two extra-base hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the eighth inning.

Lamarre Rey got his first win for the Frontier Greys despite allowing five runs over six innings. He struck out one, walked four and surrendered seven hits.

Matt Rein ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in six innings, walked two and struck out seven.
