Juan Sanchez had three RBIs, sparking the Lake Erie Crushers (26-23) to a 9-7 victory in seven innings over the Rockford Aviators (22-26) on Thursday at Aviator Stadium.

He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Ryan Connolly had an impressive outing against the Rockford Aviators' lineup. Connolly held the Rockford Aviators hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

Kenny Bryant racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Rockford Aviators. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the seventh inning.

The Lake Erie Crushers' lineup had no answer for Kyle Hassna. The Lake Erie Crushers managed just one hit off of the the Rockford Aviators' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Josh Slaats couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Rockford Aviators, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
