The Lake Erie Crushers (14-15) took home a marathon 3-2 victory over the Washington Wild Things (19-10) on Wednesday at All Pro Freight Stadium.

With the score tied at two in the tenth inning, Anderson Hidalgo came to the plate and singled, plating Zachary Bricknell.

Vincent Meija racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the sixth inning.

Despite the loss, the Washington Wild Things' Zac Fuesser dominated the Lake Erie Crushers' batters, giving up two runs and striking out six.

Trevor Longfellow improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Pat Butler was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
