Rob Kelly was cold coming off the bench, but Kelly warmed up quickly as Kelly stroked a key pinch-hit double in the nine to lead the Florence Freedom (14-12) to a 4-3 win over the Southern Illinois Miners (15-12) on Sunday at UC Health Stadium.

With the Florence Freedom trailing by one in the ninth inning, Kelly came to the plate and doubled.

A walk-off two-run home run by Nick Stein gave the Florence Freedom the win.

The Florence Freedom were led by Stein's hitting. Stein went 0-3. He homered in the ninth inning.

Kelly racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Florence Freedom.

Chris Cummins improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Florence Freedom. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Derrick Miramontes ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
