Saturday was a great day for Cullen Babin, as Babin struck out six batters to carry the Normal CornBelters (11-14) to a 6-1 victory over the Frontier Greys (4-23) at The Corn Crib.
Aaron Dudley racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Normal CornBelters. He doubled in the first inning, homered in the fourth inning, and singled in the seventh innings.
Lamarre Rey ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
