The Schaumburg Boomers (11-10) continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring four runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 14-3 landslide win over the Southern Illinois Miners (12-9) at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium.

Anthony Smith picked up the win for the Schaumburg Boomers. Smith pitched six innings and allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out four.

Miguel Ramirez couldn't get it done on the bump for the Southern Illinois Miners, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.

The Schaumburg Boomers easily handled the Southern Illinois Miners pitching as six hitters combined for 17 hits, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored.
