Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Sunday as the Schaumburg Boomers (16-11) outscored the River City Rascals (9-16) 11-8 in seven innings.

Gerard Hall racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He doubled in the third inning, homered in the sixth inning, and singled in the seventh inning.
The River City Rascals couldn't get anything going as long as Chris Phelan was on the mound. Phelan gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during his five innings of work.
