Offenses dominate as the Laredo Lemurs outscore the Winnipeg Goldeyes 13-8

Pitchers had a tough day during the game between the Laredo Lemurs (11-2) and the Winnipeg Goldeyes (10-3), as the two teams put up 21 runs combined in a 13-8 the Laredo Lemurs win.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the eleventh, with 14 lead changes.

The Laredo Lemurs pulled out the win thanks to a strong eleventh inning. A sacrifice fly by Marcos Rodriguez scored Mike Sheridan and gave the Laredo Lemurs the lead for good.

Harrison Kain went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for the Laredo Lemurs. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third and seventh innings.

Bradley Blanks improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Laredo Lemurs. He allowed one run over three innings. Blanks struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.

Wes Alsup (0-1) took the loss for the Winnipeg Goldeyes. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The Laredo Lemurs hammered the Winnipeg Goldeyes pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 19 hits, nine RBIs and 12 runs scored.
