Stephen Douglas drove in three runs as the Lincoln Saltdogs (4-3) took home a 6-3 victory over the Kansas City T-Bones (2-5) at CommunityAmerica Ballpark on Wednesday.
He homered in the second inning and singled in the fourth, seventh, and ninth innings.Jairo Perez racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Kansas City T-Bones. He homered in the fifth inning.
Pete Parise improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lincoln Saltdogs. He allowed three runs over 6 2/3 innings. Parise struck out one, walked three and gave up six hits.
Aaron Meade (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
