Morales helps the Sioux Falls Canaries down the St Paul Saints 7-4

Cory Morales had two extra base hits, sparking the Sioux Falls Canaries (2-3) to a 7-4 victory over the St Paul Saints (3-2) on Tuesday at Sioux Falls Stadium.

He tripled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.

Ben Moore struck out six, paving the way for a the Sioux Falls Canaries win. Moore allowed three earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the St Paul Saints' Adam Frost. Frost went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

The Sioux Falls Canaries couldn't get anything going so long as Cole Nelson was on the hill. The Sioux Falls Canaries managed just one hit off of Nelson, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out three during his 3 2/3 innings of work.

Mark Hamburger (0-1) took the loss for the St Paul Saints. He allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out two.

The Sioux Falls Canaries' JP Ramirez, Morales and Jared Clark combined for six hits and six RBIs.
