Marty Popham kept the Quebec Capitales (6-4) off the board during his six innings of work and the Rockland Boulders (7-2) beat the Quebec Capitales, 6-5.

Popham allowed three hits, two walks and struck out three.

A walk-off error by Stephen Cardullo gave the Rockland Boulders the win.

Cardullo was hot from the plate for the Rockland Boulders. Cardullo went 1-3 and scored one run. He singled in the eighth inning.

Nick Del Guidice was hot from the plate for the Rockland Boulders. Del Guidice went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the eighth inning.

Even though Kevin Fuqua allowed five runs over one inning he still recorded the victory, his first of the season. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered three hits.

Tim Griffin (1-1) took the loss for the Quebec Capitales. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
