The Joliet Slammers (31-43) didn't stand a chance on Sunday, as the Lake Erie Crushers (42-31) captured a blowout 10-4 win at Silver Cross Field.

The Lake Erie Crushers scored three runs in the fourth on an error, , and a triple by Daniel Bowman.

Seth Granger reached base four times. He scored two runs and had two RBIs.

Alex Kaminsky struck out four hitters en route to the the Lake Erie Crushers win. The Lake Erie Crushers' pitcher tossed five innings of shutout ball and allowed only four hits.

Chuck Lofgren (6-6) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked two and struck out three.
