Ninth-inning rally sparks blowout win for the Windy City ThunderBolts, 11-4

The Windy City ThunderBolts (34-39) blew out the Washington Wild Things 11-4 on Saturday at CONSOL Energy Park after pouring on nine runs in the ninth inning.

Evan Button racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He homered in the third inning.

Markus Solbach baffled the Washington Wild Things (35-37), striking out six batters. Solbach allowed one earned run on three hits and two walks over six innings.

Reese McGraw recorded his first win of the year for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed one run over one inning. McGraw struck out one, walked one and gave up one hit.

Matt Phillips ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked one, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
