Ryan Zamorsky kept the River City Rascals (33-39) off the board during his six innings of work and the Evansville Otters (35-36) beat the River City Rascals, 7-1.

Zamorsky struck out three and allowed two walks and four hits.

Everything was working at the plate for the the Evansville Otters in the sixth. In the inning the Evansville Otters scored four runs.

Nick Schwaner paced the Evansville Otters at the plate. Schwaner went 3-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the first, third, and sixth innings.

Tommy Mendoza ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out three.
