Matt Rein picked up the win for the Lake Erie Crushers. Rein allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out one over seven innings of work.
Nick Stein boosted his batting average thanks to a perfect 3-3 day at the plate to pace the Florence Freedom. He singled in the third, sixth, and eighth innings.
Michael Oros was charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
