Taylor Wrenn went 1-4 and hit a home run as the Traverse City Beach Bums (38-24) took home a 4-1 victory over the Florence Freedom (35-27) at Wuerfel Park on Monday.

Johnny Omahen pitched lights out for the Traverse City Beach Bums. The Florence Freedom managed just two hits off of the the Traverse City Beach Bums' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out four during his seven innings of work.

The Traverse City Beach Bums had no answer for Daniel DeSimone, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. DeSimone held the Traverse City Beach Bums hitless over 2 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Chuck Weaver ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
