A five-run eighth inning sealed a 13-7 win for the Florence Freedom (28-20) over the Evansville Otters (26-21) on Wednesday at UCMC Stadium.

Byron Wiley racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the third inning and homered in the eighth inning.

Ryan Kresky paced the Evansville Otters at the plate. Kresky went 2-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the fourth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Dan Jensen recorded his fifth win for the Florence Freedom even though he allowed seven runs over seven innings. Jensen struck out none, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Bryce Morrow (6-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed eight runs in five innings, walked one and struck out five.
