The Windy City ThunderBolts (17-27) had a tough outing on Friday, as the Traverse City Beach Bums (26-17) dominated in an 11-5 win at Standard Bank Stadium.

A two-run single by Zach Kometani and a three-run home run by Marcus Nidiffer helped the Traverse City Beach Bums score five runs in the fifth. The Traverse City Beach Bums had three hits in the inning.

Nidiffer racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums.

Evan Button had three extra-base hits for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He homered in the fourth inning, singled in the fifth inning, and doubled in the second and seventh innings.

Scott Dunn recorded his ninth win of the year for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He allowed three runs over five innings. Dunn struck out four, walked four and gave up eight hits.

Brian Oliver ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed nine runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked four and struck out five.
