Alexi Colon racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fourth inning.
James Bierlein brought the heat against the Southern Illinois Miners during his outing. Bierlein held the Southern Illinois Miners hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out four.
