A walk-off from Seth Granger brought home the winning run for the Lake Erie Crushers (17-18) in a 3-2 victory over the Frontier Greys in 10 innings at All Pro Freight Stadium on Thursday.
Granger did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Lake Erie Crushers, reaching base one time.
The Lake Erie Crushers were led by Andrew Davis's hitting. Davis went 2-5, drove in one and scored two runs. He homered in the first inning and singled in the tenth inning.
Mickey Jannis brought the heat against the Frontier Greys (14-20) during his outing. Jannis gave up just two hits, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Kyle Brady was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed one run.
