After five lead changes in Wednesday's game at All Pro Freight Stadium, the Lake Erie Crushers (10-13) finally pulled out a 8-4 win over the Evansville Otters (15-7).

Daniel Bowman racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Lake Erie Crushers. He homered in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

John Nester racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Evansville Otters. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Dave Middendorf got the win, running his season record to 3-1. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out five, walked three and surrendered seven hits.

Matt Crim ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 4 2/3 innings, walked none and struck out four.
