West allowed one hit, six walks and struck out five.

Vladimir Frias racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Gateway Grizzlies. He tripled in the third inning.

Brandon Mathes couldn't get it done on the hill for the Florence Freedom, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked two and struck out four.
