The Rockford Aviators (1-13) didn't have a chance on Friday, as the Florence Freedom (9-6) won in blowout fashion, 13-7 at UC Health Stadium.

The Florence Freedom scored four runs in the third on a two-run double by David Harris, an RBI double by Daniel DeSimone, and an RBI triple by Jacob Tanis.

Eric Groff racked up four RBIs on three hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the fourth innings and doubled in the sixth and eighth innings.

Alvaro Ramirez racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rockford Aviators. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

DeSimone recorded his third win of the year for the Florence Freedom. He allowed two runs over four innings. DeSimone struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

Seafth Howe (0-1) took the loss for the Rockford Aviators. He allowed six runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.

The Florence Freedom hammered the Rockford Aviators pitching as six hitters had a field day, combining for 13 hits, nine RBIs and 11 runs scored.
