The River City Rascals fend off the Frontier Greys' late push, hold on 4-2

The Frontier Greys (7-10) weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the River City Rascals (8-8), and the Frontier Greys lost 4-2 to the River City Rascals after falling behind by three runs in the fourth inning.

The Frontier Greys scored one run in the sixth on a solo home run by Mark Micowski. Unfortunately, the Frontier Greys weren't able to take the lead back.

Eric Williams got on base four times in the game for the River City Rascals. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

It was a good day at the plate for the Frontier Greys' Micowski. Micowski went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Casey Barnes improved to 2-0 on the year by picking up the win for the River City Rascals. He allowed two runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked one and surrendered eight hits.

Tyler Vaske ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his third loss of the year. He lasted just 2 2/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
