Ramos' walk-off solo blast send the Sugar Land Skeeters home winners, 7-6

A walk-off solo home run from Dominic Ramos brought home the winning run for the Sugar Land Skeeters (9-2) in a 7-6 victory over the Lancaster Barnstormers in 10 innings at Constellation Field, Sugar Land on Tuesday.

Ramos racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the tenth inning.

Gilbert De La Vara pitched lights out for the Sugar Land Skeeters. De La Vara held the Lancaster Barnstormers (7-4) hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Adam Miller improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Sugar Land Skeeters. Miller struck out none, walked one and gave up no hits.

Derrick Loop ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
