A walk-off single from Branfy Arias brought home the winning run for the Toronto Maple Leafs (1-1) in a 6-5 victory over the Barrie Baycats at Dominico Field at Christie Pits on Sunday.

The Toronto Maple Leafs' Raul Borjas was perfect at the dish, going 2-2. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

Jon Waltenbury was solid at the plate for the Barrie Baycats (1-1). Waltenbury went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Brett Lawson improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Toronto Maple Leafs. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered no hits.

Jamie Arneson (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed one run.
