The London Majors (11-6) beat the Hamilton Cardinals (4-15) 7-2 on Friday at Bernie Arbour Memorail Stadium behind Cleveland Brownlee, who drove in three runs.

The Hamilton Cardinals had no answer for Jason Schneider, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Hamilton Cardinals managed just one hit off of Schneider, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three during his two innings of work.

Cory Hammond recorded his second win of the year for the London Majors. He allowed two runs over five innings. Hammond struck out three, walked four and gave up four hits.

Benson Merritt took the loss for the Hamilton Cardinals. He lasted just three innings, walked seven, struck out four, and allowed three runs.
