The Barrie Baycats (12-10) and the Kitchener Panthers (8-11) exchanged the lead seven times on Tuesday, but the Barrie Baycats ended up on top with a 7-4 win over the Kitchener Panthers.

The Barrie Baycats finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A sacrifice fly by Robert Recuenco scored Jordan Lundberg and gave the Barrie Baycats the lead for good.

Kyle DeGrace racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Barrie Baycats. He singled in the fifth and seventh innings and homered in the eighth inning.

Ryan Dillabough allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out two over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Adam Hawes improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Barrie Baycats. He allowed one run over 1 1/3 innings. He struck out one, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Mike White was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
