Jordan Accetta finished the 2016 season 2-0 with a 5.87 ERA in 29 relief appearances as a junior at Wofford College. As a sophomore in 2015, Accetta went 1-3 with a 7.75 ERA in 15 appearances (six starts). The right-hander pitched for the Vienna Riverdogs in the Cal Ripken Summer Collegiate League last summer, finishing 3-4 with a 3.19 ERA in nine games (seven starts). Accetta struck out a team-high 44 in a team-best 56.1 innings. As a freshman in 2014, Accetta finished 3-3 in 13 appearances (six starts). The Charlotte, N.C., native was named the New York Collegiate Baseball League Pitcher of the Year in the summer of 2014 with the Hornell Dodgers. Accetta finished the summer 9-0 with a 1.78 ERA in 11 games (10 starts). Accetta established a New York Collegiate League All-Time single-season winning percentage record and tied the single-season record for most wins in the regular season. Accetta was a four-year starter at Charlotte Catholic High School.
