T.J. Dixon began the 2016 campaign with a spot on the Preseason All-Southern Conference team. By season’s end, the junior outfielder amassed a .299 batting average while starting 60 games and leading the Bulldogs with 21 steals. Dixon, who recorded ten 3-hit games, demonstrated his prowess as one of the fastest players in collegiate baseball. Dixon batted 3-for-4 with 3 runs scored and 4 RBI in a March 15th blowout victory over Alabama State. T.J. was 3-for-5 with 3 steals against Mercer on April 2nd. This will be T.J.’s second summer in New Bedford. Over 38 games for the Bay Sox in 2015, Dixon posted a .262 average and led the team with 13 steals. He was selected as a Freshman All-American in 2014.
