Mosebach returns for a second stint with the Wingnuts after making three appearances out of the Wichita bullpen late last season. Originally drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 12th round of the 2004 draft, Mosebach elected to return for a second year at Hillsborough Community College, after which he was selected in the ninth round of the following year’s draft by the Los Angeles Angels. The righty spent six seasons in the Angels organization, reaching the big leagues in 2009. Mosebach pitched a scoreless inning to finish off an 11-5 Angels win over the Minnesota Twins in his Major League debut on July 25 of that season, and made two more appearances with Los Angeles that year. Mosebach pitched most of 2010 at Triple-A Salt Lake before he was released. He hadn’t pitched professionally since, until last year.
